Still in NJ. MOM PASSED IN HER SLEEP September 15, 2022. She was the most significant person in my life. Someone to deeply love now gone. Put me in a tailspin I’ve yet to recover from. My back is bothering me more than usual today: a cold 32° in wintery Tenafly New Jersey. I’ve been going to the park to try to connect with Maxine to no avail. It’s too cold and she is tucked away keeping warm somewhere. I’ve been scanning negs and prints from Maui archives that I transported here years ago when I began Mom care. Now I need to gather my life’s trappings here in NJ  and transport stuff I really need back to Maui in Spring…that’s the plan at any rate. 

Then there’s moms ashes I’ve been “planting” in squirrel square.
