Transition back to Hawaii

Still in NJ. MOM PASSED IN HER SLEEP September 15, 2022. She was the most significant person in my life. Someone to deeply love now gone. Put me in a tailspin I’ve yet to recover from. My back is bothering me more than usual today: a cold 32° in wintery Tenafly New Jersey. I’ve been going to the park to try to connect with Maxine to no avail. It’s too cold and she is tucked away keeping warm somewhere. I’ve been scanning negs and prints from Maui archives that I transported here years ago when I began Mom care. Now I need to gather my life’s trappings here in NJ  and transport stuff I really need back to Maui in Spring…that’s the plan at any rate. 

Then there’s moms ashes I’ve been “planting” in squirrel square.

Loving that I have a wild “pet” squirrel I’ve named Maxine the Brave and Friendly Squirrel of Tenafly who has come to trust me this much.

Tenafly HS students on the field were captured by Peter H. Rosen, upon discovering a sensitive mother watching her son from afar.

Last night I went to the local HS where I like to hang my hammock in the park next door. I found a soccer game in progress. I brought my camera and hammock to hangout by the field. With all the people about, I was hoping I'd find a Spirit Body Process model (wearing all black) or better, a resonant friend. Instead, I found a woman* standing by herself on the path - far from the field. She was not wanting her son the see her watching him. I asked if she'd like to have photos of him playing. Big Yes! I said great, I love shooting sports and capturing peak moments. As luck would have it, here's the first image I captured! [* she's married]. I gave her my card so I can send her the images, let's see if she makes contact and if anything comes of it?
